Trebelle gave a concert on Friday, February 1 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Boise. The title of the First Friday Concert was Songs of Love – Celebrating the Music of Robert and Clara Schumann. This was an excellent evening of music. The group consists of Jennifer Dunn, violin, Heidi Nagel, cello and Robyn Wells, piano. Tonight, however, they added Nicole Golay, oboe, Dan Meier, French horn, Betsi Hodges, piano and Patty Katucki, bassoon. This was an awesome group of artists.

This statement about Trebelle, is from their website,

Trebelle is a combination of the Italian words “tre” (three) and “belle” (the plural form of the word, beauty). Jennifer, Heidi and Robyn first decided to form a piano trio when they collaborated on Robyn Wells’ CD, Hymns, Songs and Spirituals. Trebelle made its debut in a series of concerts in February 2012, performing the works of Frank Bridge, Johann Nepomuk Hummel, and Anton Arensky. 2013 will bring two sets of concerts. In February, Trebelle will perform music by Robert and Clara Schumann, along with guest violist Jennifer Drake. In spring, Trebelle will feature the music of Beethoven, Mendelssohn, as well as some of opera’s greatest duets.

They will also be at the Buzz in Boise, for another Concert Jam Session on April 8, 2013 at 7:30pm. The last one was a huge success! Do you play some instrument? Would you like to jam? This group is both amateur and professional and everyone is welcome. (See the photo above.) There is no cover charge for this event. It would be nice to buy an appetizer and/or some wine, though. Click Here to see some photos from the last jam session. Hope to see you there! Cheers!
