22Oct2013_1_Bathroom-Remodel_Day-1_Ravenswood-PumpkinInstead of saying Bathroom Remodel – Day 1, we could say, The Day The Gremlins Arrived. But I won’t!! I will let you make up your own mind. It always looks terrible when one starts projects like these. But all works out in the end. Just follow this blog and you will see.
Today was the day when the floor met a hammer and crowbar. The tub met a flat dolly and the front porch – it took three “body builders” to move that tub. When Levco Builders (see their link in the sidebar) remodeled our kitchen, it took almost 4 weeks. This should take a little over a week. After-all, it is only a 8′ x 8′ room, built in 1905. There can’t be any special problems. Can there? Let’s see. Here are some photos of today. Left-Click to see any of the photos enlarged.

Candle light in the bathroom? Or Jack-O-Lanterns in the window? Who knows what we'll find.

Floor is gone! Tub has been removed until the floor is replaced. Those walls! Got to go!! Maybe tomorrow a new color. Thursday our sprinkler system gets winterized. Someday, I might retire so I can sit back on my rocking chair. Someday .... Maybe. (That might be boring)
