05Dec2013_4e_San-Ramon_Sandi-Swan_Wineries_JSV_Still-Life_Which-One - CopyJoseph Swan was a very special friend of Robins and of mine later on. He is the one that taught Robin so very much about the wine business. He was a great winemaker. I was even lucky enough to have one, or several, of his 1975 Chardonnays. It is now my benchmark for a great Chardonnay. Robin and I are so lucky and grateful to have Lynn Swan, Rod Berglund – winemaker at Joseph Swan Vineyards – and Sandi Swan as our friends. Very special friends. Here are some photos I took while we were visiting at the vineyard. Enjoy! Left-Click any of these photos to see enlarged.
