This should be the last posting on this blog for our 2014 Florida sojourn. A really exciting and interesting time. If you noticed, there are no food photos here. I put them on the Boise Foodie blog at 2014 Florida Trip – One Must Eat. There will also be some wine and wine cellar photos on the Treasure Valley Food and Wine Blog.
Our wildlife adventures lead us to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Titusville, Florida. This is really a wonderful place to take a leisurely ride through the refuge, stopping wherever you wish. Well, mostly. There was one individual who was in a hurry and did not like us stopping. We were looking at alligators. Robin and I did see a Wild Boar as we were heading to West Palm Springs along the road. It was a large animal and I don’t remember them being that large in Aspen Hill, Tennessee back in the early 1960’s. Enjoy these photos of he Florida wildlife that we saw. You can Left-Click any of them to see them enlarged. When you see the photo, you might also see this statement above the picture: Original size at 4288 × 2848. Click on that number and you will see the original size. Cheers!
